Thanks for showing great interest in UP Squared! We happily announce that we have shipped all Kickstarter versions of the boards. Those of you who are waiting for the mass production version boards, we anticipate shipment to start at the end of August or beginning September. This slight delay is due to the BIOS verification. To make sure no more hardware changes were required, we took much longer than expected to verify this BIOS release.

For our backers who received the Kickstarter version (not the innovator version), you can update the BIOS version to UPA1AM18 if the GPIO interrupt feature is a must for you. In the meantime, ubilinux beta 4.0 has been released. This version of ubilinux permits you to use 40-pins in ubilinux.

For our internal test, BIOS UPA1AM18 has been enabled with OTG support in Yocto (kernel 4.1) which is officially supported by Intel for OTG. Now our aim is to make this feature available in Ubilinux as well as Ubuntu at kernel 4.9. We will update you on the progress of this when we see positive results!
