UP Xtreme Series is the first high performance, compact and expandable UP board, powered by the Ultra-Low Power 8th Gen Intel® Core™ processors i3/i5/i7 & Celeron CPU. With a measure of just 120mm x 122mm, it delivers a comprehensive set of features and I/O which allows you to reach astonishing performance in just 15W.
Combine the raw power of the UP Xtreme board with AI CORE X to boost your AI on the Edge solution. Meet the most complete product family of neural network accelerators for Edge devices. The expansion boards are available in MiniCard/mPCIe, M.2 2230 and M.2 2280. With just a few watts of power consumption, each chip delivers up to four trillion operations per second (TOPS) with a Neural Compute Engine capable of delivering up to one TOPS for the ultimate modern Edge solution.

Powerful
The UP Xtreme Series is powered by the 8th Generation, Ultra-Low Power Intel® Core™ i3/i5/i7 & Celeron CPU. It can clock up to 4.6 GHz using only 15W TDP.
The internal GPU is the impressive Intel® UHD Graphics 610 and is capable of 4K video output. It runs at a base frequency of 350 MHz and can reach up to a maximum of 1.05 GHz.
AI Ready
UP Xtreme provides high-performance AI processing for edge computing applications.
It is capable of expanding up to 6x Intel® Movidius™ Myriad X VPU and supports UP AI Core X, AI Core XM 2280, Vision Plus X and Net Plus.
Expandable
- Flexible expandability with both a 40-pin and 100-pin connector, as well as m.2 2230 and 2280 slots, and mPCIe slots
- Wireless modules for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G and LTE.
- Compatible with other modules, including the AI Core X, AI Core XM 2280, and Vision Plus X.
Programmable I/O via MCU
The embedded MCU is an ARM M3 based STM32F103C8T6 operating at 72 Mhz with the I/O exposed via 40-pin wafer connector.
The MCU comes pre-programmed with the CEC functionality (Consumer Electronics Control). Developers can also take advantage of the versatile STM32 MCU, redefining I/O with various frameworks and tools.
